Using the power of your mind!

Hypnosis works by guiding you into a deep state of relaxation, which some hypnotherapists prefer to call this a "trance".

Hypnosis is one of the quickest and most exciting ways to make positive, lasting change in your life.

How does hypnosis work?

Hypnosis works by guiding the mind into a state of deep relaxation.

Hypnosis also works by the hypnotherapist talking in the "language" of the subconscious mind, ensuring the conscious mind doesn't interfere at all.

Hypnosis can be used for almost anything changing your thoughts, behaviors, even your body!

You can use hypnosis to boost your confidence, increase your memory, cure your stage fright, lose weight, bulk up your muscle mass, develop your psychic powers, improve your sport, grow taller, stop smoking and a whole lot more!

Your mind creates your own reality.

Online hypnosis sites have taken the expense, inconvenience and potential embarrassment out of visiting a hypnotherapist!

This site offers almost 300 instantly downloadable MP3 hypnosis sessions all professionally produced and ready to be downloaded at the click of a button.

Detox is a natural way of removing toxins from the body. These toxins or anything else that can harm body tissue are transformed chemically to less harmful compounds and excreted via stools or urine.

Sources of toxins include those produced in the body during normal functions, such as the ammonia produced during the breakdown of protein, and chemicals such as pesticides, household cleaners, food additives, drugs, pollution, cigarette smoke, and heavy metals like lead that enter the body when we ingest or inhale them.

There are many different types of detox diets. Generally, a detox diet is a short-term diet that minimizes the amount of chemicals ingested, emphasizes foods that provide the vitamins the body needs for detoxification, and contains foods that draw out and eliminate toxins by increasing the frequency of bowel movements and urination.

Research suggests that many chemicals we ingest can become deposited in fat cells in our bodies. A diet that is deficient in certain nutrients may also impair our natural ability to detoxify chemicals, which can further leads to their build-up in the body.

The cumulative load, called the "body burden", is thought to lead to illness and has been linked to hormonal imbalance, impaired immune function, nutritional deficiency, and an inefficient metabolism. Signs are thought to include indigestion, bad breath, fatigue, poor skin, and muscle pain.

Even though detox is primarily thought of as a treatment for alcohol or drug dependence, the term is also used to refer to diets, herbs, and other methods of removing environmental and dietary toxins from the body.

This is a sample two-week detox diet plan to support detoxification by increasing elimination from the body, cleansing the colon, enhancing circulation to clear toxic substances, eliminating foods from the diet that require detoxification or are allergenic, and providing nutrients to support and protect the liver, the main organ involved in detoxification.

Your thyroid dictates much of your metabolism, any malfunction or disease afflicting this area may cause you to have problems in metabolism leading to a drastic problem with your weight.

Hypothyroidism slows the metabolism until the body gains weight at an incredible rate. This condition can cause a general weakness in the body and needs special treatment. If left untreated, hypothyroidism can cause serious health problems.

Symptoms of Hypothyroidism

Fatigue

Weakness

Weight gain or increased difficulty losing weight

Coarse, dry hair

Dry, rough pale skin

Hair loss

Cold intolerance (can't tolerate the cold like those around you)

Muscle cramps and frequent muscle aches

Constipation

Depression

Irritability

Memory loss

Abnormal menstrual cycles

Decreased libido

Many people with hypothyroidism don't seek medical treatment because they don't realize their is a problem. They may accept their symptoms of fatigue, muscle weakness, dry skin, depression, feeling cold, and constipation as signs of aging. The best way to be sure is to get regular check ups from your doctor.

When you have hypothyroidism, be sure to:

Follow your provider's instructions for taking your medicine.

Get your thyroid hormone level checked when your provider suggests.

Keep your follow-up appointments.

While hypothyroidism cannot be prevented, treatment can be simple and inexpensive.

So it is no surprise that celebrities body shaping secrets. Their regimen includes uniqueworkouts to well-planned meals. Who doesn't want to know their secrets in staying absolutely sexy? Here are some of the diet secrets of seven women celebrities.

1. Jennifer Aniston
The star of the phenomenal television show Friends not only mesmerized audiences with her adorable comic sense and her famous hairstyle, she was also known for having one of the sexiest bodies in Hollywood, as she appeared in countless magazine covers. To stay trim, Jennifer follows the zone 40-30-30 Diet method.

The zone diet consists of:

40% Low glycemic carbohydrates
-Foods such as beans, fruits and vegetables, legumes

30% lean proteins
-Tofu, fish, chicken, turkey, beef and low fat dairy products

30% essential fats
-nuts and seeds, fish and olive oils

It is essential that every meal should contain macronutrients to attain the balance of hormones and maximum weight loss.

2. Kate Hudson
The gorgeous daughter of actress Goldie Hawn gained 60 pounds during her pregnancy, which she needed to shed quickly before commencing on her next film. From her previous eating plan, she switched to a higher protein diet. She consumed high protein meals in smaller portions, and she combined this diet with an exercise program that includes weight training and cardiovascular workouts. After getting a lot of flak because of her post-pregnancy figure, Kate removed all that baby weight in only four months and has gained abdominal muscles that gained the envy of many in Hollywood.

3. Oprah Winfrey
As one of the most successful talk-show hosts in the world, there is no question that Oprah needs to maintain her physical appearance for her millions of audiences. Known as one of those celebrities who are constantly battling weight gain, she has recently toned up her figure and has never looked figure in age 50 by combining a regular exercise regime and diet plan. Oprah works out five days a week, spending 30 minutes on the treadmill and doing free weights. Her eating plan consists of legumes, fish, nuts, fruits and vegetables, chicken and dairy products that are lowfat. She limits her consumption of white sugar and flour. Oprah also credits her trim figure to her habit of not eating anything after seven in the evening.

4. Gwyneth Paltrow
A lot of people may find it hard to believe that the perpetually slim Academy award-winning actress actually needs to diet. Gwyneth actually follows a healthy eating plan that resembles Oprah's, avoiding sugar and white flour. She usually follows a macrobiotic diet, eating foods like vegetables, brown rice, and lean meat. She also eliminated dairy from her diet, and does yoga everyday.

5. Madonna
The pop star known as the Material Girl has always flaunted a body that is to die for, and has become a true fitness paragon over the years. She keeps herself in tip-top shape by having Ashtanga Yoga, and follows a strict diet that mostly shuns junk foods. She adopted a macrobiotic eating plan that includes organic foods rich in lean protein.

6. Claudia Schiffer
The bodacious German supermodel eats salad and steamed vegetables for dinner and eats only fruits before the afternoon. While on locations, she prefers to eat black grapes and drinks tomato juice and herbal tea.

7. Christie Brinkley
Long-time supermodel maintains her all-American good looks by being a vegetarian. She does not keep junk foods of any kind inside her home to make sure that she does not eat them when cravings occur. She snacks on sweet potatoes in place of candy bars, and she adopts a liquid juice diet when she needs to slim down fast.

Celebrities are just like ordinary people. They need to maintain their figures just like anyone else, and there is more pressure on their part since they are constantly in the public eye. Ordinary folks can have celebrity-like bodies, too, and by following these diet and fitness plans, they can also look like red-carpet worthy.

For many dieters, losing weight is not very easy. Even with the best of intentions, many people lack the time and discipline it takes to modify their diet to encourage healthy weight loss. With today's hectic lifestyles, who really has time to cook -- let alone measure and count calories?

Purchasing Pre Packaged Frozen Foods

I know some people who have actually resorted to purchasing pre-packaged frozen diet foods such as lean cuisine or weight watchers to help them shed a few pounds, but is this an effective way to lose weight?

Some say yes, some say no.

Some people feel that the low calorie, low fat, and small portions frozen foods offer help them stay on course with their diet plans. Skeptics, on the other hand, are afraid that the portions are too small...and their hunger will sabotage their weight loss efforts.

It's all about what you eat that makes the difference.

Purchasing pre packaged foods can help you stay on track, but you have to be careful what foods you buy. You want to pick meals that are low in sodium, saturated fats, and chemicals.

Food delivery services

Many folks have found the convince of food delivery services. For example, The Chefs Diet is the largest and most popular Zone diet food delivery service currently on the market. It is a healthy and convenient way to shed a few pounds.

The Chefs Diet is based first and foremost on the idea that your food should be appealing. Unlike many trend diets, the Chefs Diet isn't a high cab diet or a high protein diet or any of that stuff that makes diets so hard to stick with. Instead, the Chefs Diet is a balanced diet, which has a balanced proportion of protein and "good fats" and a slightly higher proportion of carbs.

The Chefs Diet is more valuable than pre-packaged meals from the grocery store because of variety, quality, and freshness. The service offers Zone diet approved meal plans, kosher diets, kids diets, glycemic index diets, and more. Chefs Diet is a great gourmet meal delivery program for anyone who does not want to spend money on any groceries or eating out and it is a service that helps busy dieters stay on track.

Most people begin their weight loss and diet program with the best of intentions. However, despite good intentions, a majority of dieters fail.

Why do most dieters fail? It's not due to little slip ups here and there. Not because of an extra piece of pie or enjoying a night out on the town. Their failure is due to 3 common mistakes people make over and over again.

1. 'All Or Nothing' Attitude

All or nothing dieters will often pick out a complicated diet that is almost impossible for them to maintain. They are planning to be the perfect dieter, and so they will be, for one day, three days, seven days or even a couple of weeks. Then, inevitably, something happens that means they cannot keep to the diet one time. Immediately the whole thing is ruined in their eyes and the diet is over and go back to life as usual.

2. Self Deprivation

Another common mistake is to view your diet as a period of deprivation. You do not allow yourself the foods that you enjoy most while you are on your way to your target weight. You may have a great diet plan and be very successful in losing weight, but what happens when you reach your goal? It is better to include a little of everything in your diet and learn to enjoy it in small quantities. Yes, even chocolate!

3. Failing to Set Goals

Setting achievable goals is vital in any weight loss plan. Goals should be clear, realistic and set out in writing.

I'm sure you've heard about the Raw Food diet. It was a buzz a couple of years ago and has gained popularity as a great way to loose weight.

What is the raw food diet?

A raw food diet means consuming food in its natural, unprocessed form. There are several common-sense rationales for why this is a good idea. It is all about eating unprocessed, uncooked, organic, whole foods, such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, legumes, dried fruits, seaweeds, etc. It means a diet that is at least 75% uncooked! A raw food diet means eating more the way our ancient ancestors did. Our healthier, more fit ancestors. They cooked very little, and certainly didn’t cook or process fruits and vegetables. They ate them RAW.

Doesn’t it just make sense that this is how our bodies were meant to eat? It’s a way of eating that’s in harmony with the planet and in harmony with our own metabolisms. Our bodies were meant to work, and need to work to be efficient. That means exercise, certainly, but it also means eating natural, raw foods that require more energy to digest them.

There are a few things you should know before embarking on the raw food diet. First, while you are eating as close to natural as possible, you cannot eat raw meats since they harbor bacteria and parasites.

Second, restricting yourself to a pure raw diet can be an extreme change and might be hard to stick to. Instead of limiting yourself to only raw foods, simply add more servings of raw fruits and vegetables to your diet. Find your balance of a healthy well balanced diet and stick with that.
