What worked was cutting out carbohydrates and sugar. It resulted in my shedding the weight and keeping it off. It wasn’t about eating less, but we’re eating of the wrong stuff and filling up on more protein and vegies.

Cutting Calories Doesn’t Always Work

Why is it that some people are naturally overweight while others are thin while eating a lot more each day?

Sometimes, the best way to cure obesity is not by cutting calories. It’s by cutting the wrong kind of calories.

Certain types of food can accelerate weight gain such as simple sugars or bad fats. If you have trouble loosing weight, you need to decrease the amount of processed carbs and saturated fats. Instead you need to substitute in complex carbs and healthy fats.
