Are You Sabotaging Your Weight Loss Efforts?

posted by Tanya R in January 11th, 2008

Most people begin their weight loss and diet program with the best of intentions. However, despite good intentions, a majority of dieters fail.

Why do most dieters fail? It’s not due to little slip ups here and there. Not because of an extra piece of pie or enjoying a night out on the town. Their failure is due to 3 common mistakes people make over and over again.

1. ‘All Or Nothing’ Attitude

All or nothing dieters will often pick out a complicated diet that is almost impossible for them to maintain. They are planning to be the perfect dieter, and so they will be, for one day, three days, seven days or even a couple of weeks. Then, inevitably, something happens that means they cannot keep to the diet one time. Immediately the whole thing is ruined in their eyes and the diet is over and go back to life as usual.

2. Self Deprivation

Another common mistake is to view your diet as a period of deprivation. You do not allow yourself the foods that you enjoy most while you are on your way to your target weight. You may have a great diet plan and be very successful in losing weight, but what happens when you reach your goal? It is better to include a little of everything in your diet and learn to enjoy it in small quantities. Yes, even chocolate!

3. Failing to Set Goals

Setting achievable goals is vital in any weight loss plan. Goals should be clear, realistic and set out in writing.

Lose Weight Easily this Year with Self Hypnosis

Using hypnosis is an effective way to lose weight and improve your quality of life. It can be an effective and permanent means to tackle a weight loss problem. By building healthy habits and weight loss hypnosis can be a powerful weight loss tool.

Permanent weight loss occurs with a change in lifestyle, not through unnatural diets that are impossible to maintain. One of the reasons why people fail with their weight loss or lifestyle change is because of their frame of mine. One part of the mind wants to lose weight and knows how to do it but negativity, self doubt, and self sabotage can get in the way.

Hypnosis is the perfect tool for re-educating your unconscious mind - the part that creates cravings and impulses - to give you back choice in what you eat.By using positive reinforcement to target your subconscious mind, hypnotherapy can help produce immediate weight loss with ease by eliminating the obstacles keeping you from your goals. Hypnosis can help you make those changes, quickly and more easily than you ever imagined possible.

Using the power of self hypnosis, you can get to get a more slender, fit, and attractive body - without will power. And imagine the complements.

If you are at a stage where feel as if you’ve have tried everything to lose weight without any success you might want to consider weight loss hypnosis.
