Well as you can see my question s over weight loss. Well one day we were in my parenting class and we were discussing weight loss. And in the conversations somebody asked if a person could lose 15 pounds in 2 weeks. To my surprise the teacher said yes but that would be pushing ones self.

Is it better to graze or eat regular meals during the day?

Sometimes, it is easier to plan your meals so that you are dividing your day into 3 meals plus 2 to 3 snacks. Why? Breaking up your meals like this spreads out your food intake so you have energy throughout the day.

Grazing also helps avoid over eating because it helps maintain appetite. This makes it an effective way to lose weight. Your meals sould provide 75% of your nutrients. The rest of the calories can be met by smaller snacks.

We all know and love Valerie Bertinelli from the 70s hit TV show “One Day at a Time.” Now she is the divorced mother of a teenager and is sharing her battle with weight as a spokesperson for Jenny Craig.

Losing It is Bertinelli’s motivational story based off of her complicated family life to her struggles to maintain a healthy self-image . It deals with her 20 year marriage to rock star Eddie Van Halen and her difficulties with depression.
